On Sunday October 13th, our Managing Director Matthew Milliken will be running the 2024 Bournemouth Half Marathon, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Everyone at Mandolay would like to wish Matthew every success, as he attempts to smash his own personal best time for a half marathon. Matthew has quite recently taken up running again after quite a break, and it’s amazing that he is setting new PBs, years after he began…all those years ago!
Run Bournemouth, the organisers of the half marathon describe the course as ‘spectacular, and beautiful with some glorious views of the coast and beyond’ It then goes on to mention cliff tops and steep drops, so we’re not too sure if Matthew will be spending much time admiring the views?
One rather special feature of the day will be the opportunity to run along not one, but two piers, Boscombe, and then Bournemouth which is where the race ends.
