We were delighted to welcome so many clients, friends, and suppliers to our annual ‘Pamper Evening’, hosted at the Molton Brown store in Guildford last night.

Our relationship with Molton Brown goes back a long way, we have been providing a complimentary selection their cosmetics and toiletries in all of our guest bathrooms for a number of years now, and we know how popular they are.

Tami Vickery, Sales Director at Mandolay organised the event both as a thank you to our friends but also as a fundraiser for a remarkable charity that is very close to our hearts.

‘Matt Gaskin and his family organise free Christmas lunches for people from all walks of life across Guildford. Last year they provided almost 600 meals, and a great deal of Christmas cheer to families, and individuals living within 10 miles of Guildford, and in the past we have supported them with food deliveries.

This year we decided to hold a raffle, with prizes donated by lovely people like the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Wine and Earth, and The County Club. We are still counting the donations but we are confident that a significant amount was raised on the night.’

The Pamper Evening was a great success as it always is, with our guests enjoying hand and arm massages from the talented experts at Molton Brown that were ‘on hand’ to help with the treatment suggestions, and top tips.

Canapes were prepared by our talented chef David, and from the reaction it was obvious that he hit all the right notes, with truffle tartlets, smoked salmon bites, and delicate desserts including homemade macaroons (the pistachio versions in particular flew off the plates!).

As Tami explains ‘We love hosting events like this, it gives us a chance to say thank you to a few folk and offers an opportunity for local businesses to do a spot of very informal networking. Judging by the emails I received today, it is very clear that a good night was indeed, had by all’.
